Conveniently located off Highway 21 in Bogalusa, the Washington Community Health Center offers patients same day appointments for preventive and diagnostic care.  Our bilingual providers and staff go above and beyond to take care of every patient’s need.  Services in Bogalusa include: Adult Primary Care, as well as Behavioral Health. Our Behavioral Health team offers therapeutic care for children and adults in both individual and group settings. Psychiatry services are available.

For patients who suffer with two or more chronic illnesses, Access Health Louisiana offers a chronic care management program which includes health coaching and support to help patients reach their desired health goals.

While most commercial insurances, Medicaid and Medicare are accepted, no patient is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. We offer services on a sliding fee scale based on your household size and income. Patients can also save money on prescription medications by taking part in the 340B discount pharmacy program. Your prescriptions can be filled at the discounted rate at most local pharmacies. Patients can also see if they are eligible for Medicaid benefits on site.  Our staff will help you with your application during regular clinic hours.

The Washington Community Health Center is part of the Access Health Louisiana Network, a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers in Louisiana.
