The St. Charles Community Health Center (STCCHC) offers high quality, convenient and affordable care close to home for families living in Luling.  This is why people living on the Westbank of St. Charles Parish have trusted our physicians and staff with their healthcare for 14 years. Established after Hurricane Katrina to serve the needs of the community, the STCCHC has grown and flourished as a model of care and stability in the region.

From initial diagnosis to treatment, our caring staff will guide you to healthier results.  We offer a variety of services for patients of all ages including:  Adult and Pediatric Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Dental Care, Podiatry, and WIC (Click here for information on how to apply for WIC benefits).  Patients can also sign up for Medicaid on site (click here to see if you qualify for Medicaid benefits).  Access Health Louisiana Pharmacy is now open, it will improve the quality of our patient’s care through expanded medical services.  With convenient hours of operation and same day appointments available, patients can schedule visits with doctors at times that work for them.

In August 2018, the STCCHC began providing healthcare services to the students and faculty of Luling Elementary School thanks to a partnership with the St. Charles Parish School District.  Students attending Luling Elementary are escorted to the STCCHC during the school day for primary care and behavioral health services.  This helps keep children in school and parents from having to leave work to take their child to doctor’s appointments during the day.  Parents of Luling Elementary students who would like to schedule an appointment for their child can call (985) 785-5800 ext. 1203.

Patients visiting the Luling clinic can also take advantage of our ipad sign in when coming to their appointment.  This high tech feature also helps your provider get more accurate information from you to help increase the quality of your overall care. For patients in need of medication, we offer discount pharmacy prescriptions through our 340B program. Patients can get their prescriptions filled at most pharmacies at a highly reduced rate.

While most commercial insurances, Medicaid and Medicare are accepted, patients are never turned away for care due to their inability to pay.  A discount sliding fee scale is offered based on a patient’s household size and income.

High standards of care, affordability and convenience are just some of the reasons why the STCCHC was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home.  Our physicians and staff, many of whom are also bilingual, continually exceed national standards by offering higher quality of care at lower costs.  This means a better overall healthcare experience for you our patient.  The STCCHC is a member of the Access Health Louisiana (AHL) Network, a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers in Louisiana.

Make your appointment today.  Call the STCCHC in Luling at (985) 785-5800.  For medical questions after hours, please call the clinic and your call will be routed to staff that can assist you.  In case of a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
