Dr. MarkAlain Dery serves as Medical Director of the Ryan White Grant funding at the Pythian clinic. Access Health Louisiana Primary Care is centrally located in downtown New Orleans. The clinic sees patients on the third floor of the Pythian building. Free patient parking is available in the adjacent Ace Parking Garage on Level 5B. Patients can use the door across from parking spots marked “Access Health Louisiana” to enter directly into the clinic. For patients entering off street level on Poydras, follow directions on the door buzzer to gain access into the building.

Providers at this location offer Adult Primary Care, Behavioral Health, LGBTQ+ services, and Infectious Disease care all in one convenient location. For patients seeking behavioral health services, our team of trained therapists, psychiatrists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners offer individual and group therapy with in-person and virtual appointments. Individuals dealing with opioid use disorder can participate in our medication assisted treatment program under the direction of Leigh Ann de Mondredon, C-ANP.
AHL also offers patients discounted prescription medications through the federal 340B program. This means that you can get your prescriptions filled at most local pharmacies and save money. Patients can also have their prescriptions filled through the Access Health Louisiana Pharmacy which offers free home delivery of your medications.
We accept most commercial insurances, Medicaid and Medicare. If you are uninsured, you won’t be turned away for service. You can still see a provider by utilizing our sliding fee scale. This means that the cost of your visit will be based on your household size and income. For some patients, this means seeing a doctor for as little as fifteen dollars. Patients can also apply for Medicaid at the clinic during regular business hours.
