Medicaid Patients: Don’t Risk Losing Your Coverage!
Louisiana Medicaid is mailing member households a pink letter. If a patient receives a letter, this means that Medicaid has their correct contact information including mailing address on file. No further action is needed.
If a patient currently on Medicaid DOES NOT receive a pink letter by May 31st, they MUST contact Medicaid immediately! Medicaid needs their up-to-date contact address to ensure they receive letters regarding renewal periods. Medicaid enrollees risk losing their coverage if the state does not have their current address on file. To update information, patients may call 1-888-342-6207 or visit the self-service portal at MyMedicaid.la.gov.
They can also call the number on the back of their Medicaid insurance card to update their address.
Please remember that patients who utilize the AHL Pharmacy for their medication orders and refills will never experience a lapse in prescription coverage due to a loss of insurance or Medicaid ineligibility.
To ensure that your medications are being filled through the AHL Pharmacy, talk to your provider or call toll-free 1-833-556-6290 or (985) 785-5826.
