SUICIDE PREVENTION EDUCATION
Yesterday, September 8th, 2022, our LPC from J.B. Martin / R.J. Vial, Kerry Nesbit, gave a presentation at the Killona Community Center about suicide awareness and prevention. She taught elementary-high school aged children information about risk factors, warning signs, and protective factors for suicide risk. She provided them with resources and skills so they can better react and seek help if they or someone they know is thinking of committing suicide.
