NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME AT NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH

Close to 35 community partners came together for the New Hope Baptist Church – Night Against Crime event to connect families to vital resources. There were free
game truck and bounce house activities, as well as food and drinks for all. McDonogh 35 HS provided stellar music entertainment and there was a special guest appearance from New Orleans Chief of Police, Anne Kirkpatrick. Access Health Louisiana offered: suggestions on adding more Colorful veggies and fruits to diets, portion plate giveaways, ways to reduce high blood pressure & destress, cancer prevention education, Deterra education and handouts, Managed Care Plan Medicaid benefits incentive charts and more. Rev Jamaal Weathersby closed the successful outreach event in prayer. South Broad Community Health Center’s Primary Medical Care/Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, Health Coach & Medicaid Application services were promoted.
