NEW INFANT MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM

It is with great pleasure that Access Health Louisiana announce the availability for children 0-5 years old to receive specialized behavioral health services through AHL’s new Infant Mental Health (IMH) service located in our Behavioral Health suite on the second floor of the Kenner Clinic located at 671 West Esplanade Avenue.
Children aged below 6 years are typically not seen by mental health providers due to the limited number of providers trained to work with this age group. At AHL we have certified providers who we have linked together to provide this service. The decision to offer IMH was based on the numbers of requests for appointments that we’ve received over the past two years.
The goal of the AHL Infant Mental Health Team is to provide therapy and promote the social/ emotional competence of very young children (0-5) and provide parent/family support and training.
Our new Infant Mental Health Program is located at
Kenner Community Health Center
671 West Esplanade Avenue
For appointments, call (504) 712-7800
Most insurances accepted including Medicaid. Sliding fee scale is available for uninsured patients.
Infant mental health program is for children ages 0-5.
