VISION SCREENINGS AT MENTAL HEALTH FIELD DAY!
On Wednesday, July 2nd, our community partner, Humana, reached out to Access Health Louisiana in partnership to provide Vision screenings during their Mental Health Field Day & Community Resource Fair at the Hardin Park in New Orleans. Collaboratively, health services and screenings were provided for the community.
The Outreach team shared educational resources related to vision, healthy blood pressure readings, A1C, ways to destress, healthy eating options, harm reduction supplies and linked those in need of follow up care to the nearest Access Health Louisiana health center. South Broad CHC & other AHL Health Center services: Primary Medical Care, Behavioral Health Care, Infant Mental Health, Pharmacy & other AHL services were promoted.
