The Outreach Team is supporting the Que Pasa Metairie Event. This event is Oct 11th & 12th, 11a-9p at Lafreniere Park, 3000 Downs Blvd., Metairie, LA 70003; The AHL Outreach team will be there Saturday, Oct 11th, 11-3, set up is 9:00a. This annual, free-admission festival celebrates the Hispanic heritage of Jefferson Parish with music, food, dance, and art. This year, the festival also ties into Jefferson Parish’s Bicentennial celebration, recognizing the parish’s 200-year history.
Access Health Louisiana will share information centered around children’s healthy hygiene resources, healthy eating options, educational blood pressure/A1C chart, ways to destress, Medicaid sign up information & much more. Blood pressure screenings will be offered. AHL’ s Primary Medical/Behavioral Health Care, Pharmacy, Infant Behavior Health, WIC & Maternal Care Coordination services will be promoted. Giveaways/AHL SWAG/AHL treats available.
