Vanice Zenon, LCSW is the Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health and Human Services. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience in behavioral health, early childhood development, and community-based care. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Southeastern Louisiana University (2000) and a Master of Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2013. Her specialized training includes completing a Fellowship in Infant Mental Health with the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Department of Psychiatry in 2005, where she earned certification as an Infant Mental Health Specialist. Most recently, she expanded her leadership expertise through a Fellowship with the Early Childhood Policy Leadership Institute at Tulane University’s Department of Psychiatry (2023).
Throughout her career, Vanice has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing early childhood and behavioral health initiatives. She served as a Mental Health Specialist for the largest Head Start grantee on the Northshore, Regina Coeli Child Development Center, and later as Early Childhood Center Manager for Pearl River Head Start, where she successfully opened and directed the Pearl River Head Start Center in 2008.
Her leadership extends beyond direct service. She has served as a Board Member of the Council on Aging for St. Tammany Parish, is an active member of the Women with Purpose Scholarship Group in St. Tammany Parish and has contributed statewide as an Early Childhood Health and Safety Trainer for the Louisiana Department of Education. Nationally, she continues to advance professional excellence as a Professional Development Specialist with the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington, D.C.
Currently, as Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health at Access Health Louisiana, Vanice oversees the strategic direction and operational management of behavioral health programs, ensuring accessible, evidence-based, and compassionate care for individuals and families. Her lifelong dedication to service, advocacy, and leadership reflects her commitment to improving behavioral health outcomes across Louisiana and beyond.
