Chenier Reynolds-Montz is the Senior Vice President of School Health and Strategic Media for Access Health Louisiana (AHL). She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana School-Based Health Alliance and previously served as President of LASBHA. Chenier continues to serve on the Louisiana Children’s Cabinet Advisory Board (CCAB) under Governor Jeff Landry’s administration after being commissioned to serve under Governor John Bel Edwards’ administration. On the CCAB, she serves on the annual Truancy Summit Planning Committee.
Chenier is currently a Ph.D. candidate through Liberty University and holds two master’s degrees from Loyola University in New Orleans – MBA in Healthcare Management and a M.S. in Marketing and Communications. She received her B.A. in Communications with a minor in Political Science from the University of New Orleans. She also has an Executive Certificate in Communications from Liberty University. Chenier is a Fellow of the Nancy Marsiglia Institute for Social Justice, a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Louisiana Public Health Association, and an alum of the Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans. She has also volunteered her time through membership with United Way’s Women United, Junior League of New Orleans, Alpha Sigma Nu, Beta Gamma Sigma, Sigma Kappa Sorority, and Delta Sigma Pi.
Prior to joining Access Health Louisiana, Chenier worked in broadcast journalism as an Executive Producer and Assignment Editor in New Orleans and Las Vegas. She received four Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for news writing and special events coverage. She holds eight Emmy nominations and has received 14 International Telly Awards and 11 Electronic Media Awards for news writing, news coverage, and graphic design in broadcast news.
