“Washington Parish Drug Take Back”

in Bogalusa, LA

Sheriff Officials intercepted medications and turned them in to discard. Access Health Louisiana, with other community partners, provided Flu shots + helpful educational prevention resources .

$500 worth of Turkeys were handed out to those who turn in unwanted medications. Turkeys were provided by Healthy Blue.

KREWE of Brothers and Sisters Together donated a lite lunch for participants.

Access Health Louisiana was able to triple the amount turned in this year. The drugs turned in weighed close to 32 lbs! Great work team and great progress in the Washington Parish community!
