What is infusion therapy?

Infusion therapy delivers medication directly into your bloodstream through an IV – allowing it to work more effectively than an a pill in many cases. It is used to treat conditions where the most powerful medications need to bypass the digestive system to work properly. Some specialty medications are given as an injection, making treatment even more convenient. Infusions allow the patient to feel faster symptom relief, consistent absorption, and precise dosing that oral pills cannot provide.

Common infusion therapies include: rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, colitis, asthma,  psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, iron deficiency anemia, osteoporosis, and various other autoimmune diseases.
