NEON NIGHTS WITH THE SNOWBALLS
Access Health Louisiana was present at the Neon Nights Scholarship Fundraising Ball on April 25th in Tangipahoa Parish organized by The SnoBalls Dancing Group who promotes the arts by raising funds for scholarships so that youth can attend summer camps in art, dance, music and theatre.
Encouraging arts in youth fosters critical thinking, boosts confidence, improves mental health by lowering stress, and enhances academic performance. It provides essential outlets for emotional expression, develops creative problem-solving skills, and increases civic engagement (e.g., volunteering). Key benefits also include improved social skills, reduced behavioral issues, and higher college aspirations.
