Clinic welcomes patients for in-person visits

The Kenner Community Health Center re-opened its doors this month to patients at its new temporary location near Chateau Estates subdivision.  The clinic is currently located in the Chateau Commons strip mall located at 819 West Esplanade Avenue, Suite B (at the intersection of Chateau Boulevard) in Kenner between Walgreens and Starbucks.

The 3,700 square foot temporary space at 819 West Esplanade will provide a home for Access Health Louisiana’s Pediatric and Adult Primary Care services.  Telemedicine appointments will still be offered for patients wishing to speak to their providers virtually.  Limited in-person behavioral health appointments will be offered at this location. However, telehealth appointments are still available. To schedule an appointment for behavioral health, pediatrics or adult primary care, please call (504) 712-7800 or toll-free 1-866-530-6111.

WIC services are still being offered to families.  The Kenner WIC office is currently located nearby at Access Health Louisiana’s administrative office at 2900 Indiana Avenue.  For WIC appointments, please call (504) 496-0540.

A new two-story building on West Esplanade Avenue will eventually be the final home of the Kenner Community Health Center.  The building is located across from the Kenner library and A.C. Alexander Elementary School.  It will house all service lines of the clinic under one roof.  Access Health Louisiana is scheduled to finish renovations on that project by the end of 2022.
