HEALTH FAIR | MEDICAID + HEALTH EDUCATION

Access Health Louisiana has partnered with the St John Baptist Library, for Medicaid Application Signup Opportunities. The event will follow the “Wednesday” English and Spanish Learning Classes at the Library.   

What to expect:  Access Health Louisiana will provide assistance with Medicaid Application Signups and offer Health Screenings/Educational Resources.  Free entry for AHL Stress Less Raffle Basket for those that like and follow AHL on FB will be offered.  St Charles CHC Norco & School Based Health Center ‘s Primary Medical and Behavioral Health Care services will be promoted.  Participants in need of follow up care will be offered linkage to care.

CENLA PRIDE FESTIVAL

Access Health Louisiana has partnered for the CENLA Pride Festival in Alexandria, June 6th, 1-6; doors open at 8am, must be set up by 12pm, at the Alexandria Convention Hall, 915 3rd Street, Alexandria. 

The purpose of this festival is to celebrate diversity found in Central Louisiana and will feature Music, Food, Vendors, Connection, Pride, resources from community vendors and healthcare organizations.

Woodworth Community Health Center’s Primary Medical/Behavioral Health Care, Pharmacy, MAT services, HIV/HEP C resources will be provided. Participants that follow AHL on FB will be entered into a free raffle drawing for a AHL Basket.

SENIOR EXPO – Retro Revival 1950’s Flashback

AHL will be an Exhibitor at the Jefferson Parish Senior Expo event on Thursday, June 25th.  The exhibit tabling is from 8:30 to 11:30a at the Alario Center in Westwego:  2000 Segnette Blvd., Westwego, 70094.  This year’s Expo is themed “Retro Revival 1950’s Flashback”.  The purpose of the Expo is to connect JP Seniors to helpful resources and education. Set up is Thursday, June 24th, 12-4pm and tabling reporting at 8am on 25th. Free Raffle entry for AHL giveaway stress less basket will be offered.
