DR. DERY IS IN UKRAINE
Our very own Dr. Dery is in Ukraine providing and instructing medical trauma care.
He arrived on May 11th, 2022. He is there with the SFI (Swiss Foundation for Innovation)
.
In Ukraine, the SFI (Swiss Foundation for Innovation) compound is in the Southwest part of Chernivtsi Oblast
(region). Once he and his team arrived, they unpacked supplies, repacked a smaller, more compact set of supplies, and headed to the western part of the country, which is
where he is now getting ready to start online trauma training modules for Ukrainian
physicians.

Dr. Dery is safe and remains positive.
.He hopes his work with SFI (Swiss Foundation for Innovation) will positively impact
the medical community in Ukraine with their online trauma training. He also hopes his work with SFI (Swiss Foundation for Innovation) will positively impact the residents in Ukraine that need medical evacuation because of critical injuries.
