Access Health Louisiana (AHL) participated once again in the annual health fair and community outreach event at Verbo Christian Church in Kenner. The 12th Annual Health Fair united community partners to talk about their services for families. AHL’s Margarita Tillman, Outreach Representative at the Mexican Consulate, told families how to access affordable, high quality care in their own neighborhood. She also gave adults free blood pressure screenings and told families how to get their medications filled at discounted prices through the AHL Pharmacy. All AHL locations offer Primary Care and Behavioral Health services and serve as Medicaid Application sites.
