Members of AHL’s school-based health center leadership team gave a special presentation during Jefferson Parish School District’s quality meeting held at Bonnabel High School. Senior Vice President of School Health spoke about the history of school-based health centers in the United States, how they are funded, and how stakeholders can help sustain these clinics for years to come. AHL Director of School Primary Care Services Christine McDaniel spoke about the importance of quality, the measures we focus on within school-based clinics, and why this work is so important.
