AHL BOARD MEMBER ESTELLE SE LEON ALFORTISH CANDIDATE FOR THE ANUAL “KISS A PIG” GALA FOR THE AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION
About 2025 Kiss a Pig New Orleans
The 4th Annual New Orleans Kiss a Pig Gala is a fundraiser benefitting the American Diabetes Association. The formal affair hosts 250 guests to an evening of dinner, dancing, live entertainment, auctions, and the infamous pig kissing ceremony. The event’s success is largely due to the support of business leaders who serve as candidates. The top fundraisers earn the privilege of kissing the pig at the gala to show appreciation for the animal’s heroic role in diabetes research as the first source of insulin.
Event proceeds are used to fund diabetes research, advocacy, education and support for individuals living with diabetes.
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) Kiss a Pig Gala is a major annual New Orleans fundraiser featuring a competition where community leaders raise funds to earn the privilege of kissing a pig, honoring the animal’s historical role in insulin development.
