Immunizations offered with No Out-of-Pocket Expense to Parents
Access Health Louisiana’s School-Based Health Center program will be assisting the St. Charles Parish School District with its annual immunization drive. It’s important for all children attending Louisiana schools to be current on their school-required immunizations. The immunization drive will serve students of both eastbank and westbank St. Charles Parish public schools. All students must have an immunization drive form completed by September 17th and signed by a legal parent or guardian in order to receive immunizations during the drive. If a student is in need of immunizations and misses the deadline, their parent or guardian may call one of the Access Health Louisiana School-Based Health Centers and schedule a visit on another day and time.
Eastbank students call the Albert Cammon Wellness Center (985) 308-6101
Westbank students call the JB Martin/RJ Vial Wellness Center (985) 306-0414
The Centers for Disease Control issues Vaccine Information Statements which inform parents of the benefits and risks of receiving immunizations. Please review the corresponding information statement for the immunization that you have consented for your child to receive during the drive. The are listed below in green.
Please note: Students will only receive school-required immunizations consented by their legal/parent guardian. All parents will be called and notified that the consent has been received by a member of the immunization team prior to their child being immunized.
