Access Health Louisiana joined Louisiana Primary Care Association and other community partner members on May 27 and 28th for the Community Health Center Day of action at the Louisiana State Capital.
LPCA spoke about the importance of Community Health Centers, their benefits to our state’s vulnerable population as well as our economy and the challenges health centers are currently facing.
We sat in on committee meetings educating on the legislation that may affect community Health Centers and their patients and observed potential bills being brought before the appropriate legislators.
