The 5k RUN & WALK EVENT hosted by Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center in Violet was in full swing!

From the 5k Run to the many resources available, this event brought an abundance of resource supplies and health awareness education to community residents. There were children activities and free food.

The AHL Outreach Team offered educational resources about Medicaid sign up/renewing, blood pressure, healthy eating options, preventive cancer education, diabetes resource information, harm reduction supplies, stress less resources and promoted “St. Bernard Community Health Center’s” Primary Health Care/Behavioral Health Services & other services including Medicaid sign up info, health coach, pharmacy services and linking participants to care.
